This is the kind of album you look to for a musical journey, and this journey just happens to crush your soul in the process.

The heavy and slow riffing is drenched in a gloomy, murky aura, that grabs hold of your soul, twists it and evokes a feeling of desperation, angst and despair. Extremely beautiful and melodic, without losing brutality and ferocity. There are moments reminiscing of a classic doom metal sound, although the death reeking funeral vibe is what overwhelms you with emotions. Combining that ultra heavy riffing with the rhythmic drumming easily sends you into a catatonic state, with wickedly beautiful and masterful drum-work. Adding yet another aspect of saddened atmosphere via the keyboard just enhances all previously said emotions. The vocals vary from funeral to death, clean to slow, harsh to deep growls, all masterfully done. There’s not an aspect of this album that isn’t top notch.

Put on Embrace the emptiness, shade your windows, turn off the light, lie down in bed and let yourself get overwhelmed with emotions. Drift away in your mind and just let the feelings of solitude hit you. An utterly dark album that every fan of funeral doom/death metal should own.

Track Name: Intro
Track Name: Tragedy Eternal
I wait in sorrow
On a Grey colored floor
Begging for a darker emotion
To overtake what is not yet black
I'm slowly crawling to my own end (just to be with you)
Calling out to the mist that covers
your presence (but I can feel you near)
Touching with my thoughts
(only imagined pleasures can exist)
Track Name: Chime The Centuries End
A majestic sight of everlasting reign
Behold the rise of December's frozen kingdom
Reddest of the skies welcome the angel of sorrow
the tower chimes the centuries end
I awaken to the eclipse of the blackest nights moon
Come forth winters orchestral winds
I am weakened by blizzards of sadness and chilling forgotten Eves
Track Name: Lost Kingdom Of Darkness
Darkest are the forgotten valley's where
Ancient forms gather amid the swirling winds...
Their presence felt only within the coldest depths
of the soul, plagued with fearful belief...
The moon casts an eerie glow revealing the vast
desolation where a mighty kingdom once ruled in darkness...
Tragedy has befallen these spirits
Revealed is the truth, all is forever lost
Weary eyes that search the dark side
Sigh of infinite sorrow shattered by the wind
Track Name: Ascend Into The Maelstrom
Exhorted by psalms and canticles
These monuments of a crude form of grey shimmer
A Tumult in heaven, the anthems of ecstasy and fear
confuse to seek a less doomed abode
Why should I witness this?
A muted creation taken into a somber and glacial twilight
as ash and dust which held the earth in thrall now lost...
Across the putrid moat
I lie and dream of my fearful ascent
To a prodigious height entranced by the detestable
Piping of tragic yet merciful flutes
in the wan beams of paradise
The shadows of shoel now blinding
An effigy of him, the shameless lie this now becomes
Track Name: To Sleep Eternally
Allured from unhallowed realms
The most guileful of luminosity
A macabre dance that speaks of imminent death
To which, now, I gaze in awe and silently sigh
In guilt I draw ever so close as the eyes
of twilight dissolve in the descending heavens
Souls torn by envy and grief
Forever to reach out beyond the black stone
I finally embrace your bleeding heart
You who passes before me, have been the serene
haunting of my sleep
Too long have I feared this day
Your whispers envelop tears for what is yet to come
Shall we ever meet in myth again
My sorrow shall reflect passion
For I must bid farewell, to sleep eternally
Beneath the earth
